Colonoscopy Capacity Building in Nigeria

Training Aim: To increase the number of healthcare professionals skilled in performing colonoscopies and improve outcomes for colorectal cancer patients in Nigeria, the African Research Group for Oncology (ARGO), Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, Nigeria, is organizing a week-long comprehensive colonoscopy training workshop that will be preceded by nine-week live webinars.

Venue: Surgical Skill Laboratory/Endoscopy Suite Phase II Main Building, OAUTHC

Time: 9.00 am daily
Eligible Participants: Senior resident doctors and junior consultants with experience in upper GI Endoscopy and interest in undertaking lower GI endoscopy training
Training fee: ₦150,000.00
Training format: In-person/Virtual lectures; Practical hands-on experience on simulators; participation and demonstration on actual live patients
